2.  Check your paper for IEEE compliance through the IEEE PDF eXpress Tool

1. Prepare your paper according to the instructions below 2. Check your paper for IEEE compliance through the IEEE PDF eXpress Tool 3. Upload your IEEE compliant pdf file to the HPEC 2018 submission site and submit your electronic copyright form    

Steps for using the IEEE PDF eXpress® tool:

1. Create your manuscript(s) 2. Proofread and check layout of manuscript (it is highly recommended that you do this BEFORE going to IEEE PDF eXpress). 3. Create IEEE PDF eXpress account. The url to use this tool is:  https://www.pdf-express.org/ The conference ID is 43672X 4. Upload source file(s) for Conversion; and/or PDF(s) for Checking 5. Use IEEE PDF eXpress to obtain IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF(s). 6. Once you have a compliant PDF file, log in to the HPEC 2018 Submission Site and submit your compliant PDF for collection. The PDF eXpress site contains extensive instructions, resources, helpful hints, and access to technical support.  Should you encounter issues, please use the resources available. The deadline for submitting this final PDF file is August 1, 2017.
This IEEE eXpress site will NOT collect final papers. When you are satisfied with the final paper, be sure to log in to the HPEC 2018 Submission Site and submit your compliant PDF for collection.

3.  Upload your IEEE compliant pdf file to the HPEC 2018 submission site and submit your copyright form

Steps for submitting your final paper for collection:

1. Log in to the HPEC 2018 submission site and make sure you select the role of author  https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/HPEC2018/ 2. Click ‘Create Camera Ready Submission’ to begin the process.  IMPORTANT: Please enter the title, authors and their associated affiliations, and your abstract exactly as you want them to appear when published in the proceedings and on the conference web site.  All content for the proceedings will be extracted directly from your submission.  So double-check your accuracy! 3. Once you’ve created your camera ready submission, you will be able to edit and view up until August 1 when the camera-ready submission site will close. 4. Upload your electronic copyright form.  Once you click on “Submit IEEE Copyright Form” you will be re-directed to the IEEE eCF (electronic copyright form) site where you will follow the instructions to complete your copyright form (this option will open shortly).

Final Paper Preparation and Final Paper Submission Instructions

1.  Prepare your paper according to the instructions below:

All authors must submit their final paper NO LATER THAN August 1, 2018

Paper Length:  • 6 pages + acknowledgements, references and appendices Paper Text: • Title • List of authors and their affiliations • Abstract • Introduction • Body • Conclusion • Acknowledgements (optional) • References • Appendices (optional) Your paper will be included in the proceedings exactly as submitted. Authors must therefore follow the IEEE standards in preparing their final papers. Please use the IEEE provided templates when preparing your paper.
An electronic version of your final 6-page paper in IEEE eXplore®-compatible PDF format must be submitted to the HPEC 2018 submission site no later than August 31, 2018.  Please note: All pdf files are required to be IEEE Xplore compliant. HPEC 2018 is registered for use of the tool IEEE PDF eXpress®. IEEE PDF eXpress is a free service to IEEE conferences, allowing authors to make IEEE Xplore-compatible PDFs (by using the conversion function) or to check PDFs that authors have made themselves for IEEE Xplore compatibility (by using the PDF Check function).
